Their stories include households transformed from cycles of addiction, violence, and brokenness through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Raised in homes rooted in faith and grace, Sam and Leah carry a deep conviction that no story is beyond God’s ability to restore. After years of serving in music, children’s ministry, Sunday school, administration, evangelism, teaching, and preaching, a burden began to grow in their hearts: to see the family of God expanded and a true household of faith formed, where people could encounter God, belong in authentic community, and become who He created them to be. In 2018, that calling led Sam and Leah to found ONE Church in their 400-square-foot garage. There were no big productions or polished facilities, just a conviction that the Gospel still changes lives. Bible studies became a church family, and the vision was anchored in Isaiah 51:2: “For I called him when he was but one, and I blessed him and made him many.” From the beginning, the mission has been simple: faithfully serve, teach, and reach the one, then trust God to multiply the impact. ONE Church is built around a shared confession and calling: One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One Hope, One Mission. Sam serves as Lead Pastor and primary teacher, while Leah serves as Music Director. Together, they care deeply about discipleship that happens in real relationship. They believe people are not projects to manage or crowds to impress, but lives to walk with as Christ restores hearts, renews minds, and forms a people who reflect Him. Sam and Leah are raising three children, Adrianna, Aiden, and Asher. As a family, they love traveling, cooking everything from pantry meals to smoked meats, and getting competitive over board games, especially when Asher brings his UNO skills into the room. More than collecting things, they value making memories and building meaningful relationships.
